چکیده
Guinea grass (Panicum maximum Jacq., renamed Megathyrsus maximus Jacq.) is a native forage plant in Africa of great economic value, but it was introduced almost all tropical countries as source animal forage. Over the last decade, North arid regions (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt) through authorized unauthorized ways. It has two reproduction modes sexual apomictic Besides its ability to provide high nutritive forage, guinea could affect oases agroecosystems diversity due genetic aspects (apomixis autotetraploidy) eco-physiological traits (allelopathy effect resistance abiotic stress). That why review eco-physiologic essential investigate potential introduction management new regions, particularly semiarid zones. In this paper, we most important that should be considered (polyploidy, apomixis, allelopathic effect, drought salinity resistance, invasion) for success integrated systems forage/livestock.

The molecular marker (SSR) has been used to investigate the markers associated with the agronomic traits including days to 50% flowering, tube ring time, days to maturity, plant height, the number of main stems per plant, the number of tubers per plant, dry matter content, main stem diameter, a single tuber weight, average single tuber weight, and the total yield in potato genotypes. Ten primer...
متن کاملGenetic Variation in Adaptive Traits of Cattle in North Australia
Adaptation to environmental stressors is of particular importance for cattle breeders in tropical regions of northern Australia. Various studies have estimated the genetic parameters for adaptive traits measured in northern Australian cattle herds, but most were specific to regions and breeds. The current study assesses adaptability measures of both Brahman and Composite cattle (n=2071) raised ...
